第四屆亞洲疼痛學(xué)國際會(huì)議(APS2011)會(huì)議背景：
TheAsianPainSymposium(APS)isthemainAsianpainmeeting.Sinceitsestablishmentin2000(Kyoto,Japan),anothertwoAPSswereheldinSeoul,Korea(2004)andFukuoka,Japan(2008),allinterestedinimprovingtheunderstandingofpainmechanisms,andthemanagementofacuteandchronicpain.ThemajortopicoftheAPS2011isthelatestprogressofpainresearchandnewstrategyofpaintreatment,coveringdisciplinesfrommoleculartoanatomicalandfrombasictoclinicalstudies.Thesymposiumwillconsistoftwo-dayoralandposterpresentation,discussionandsocialevents.APS2011aresponsoredbytheShanghaiInstitutesforBiologicalSciences(SIBS)ofChineseAcademyofSciences(CAS)andtheChineseSocietyforNeuroscience(CSN).
SIBSofCASisaleadingresearchinstitutionforlifesciencesinChina.ItwasestablishedonJuly3,1999,comprising8researchinstitutesand3supportingunits.ResearchatSIBSisinthreemajordirections:thebasicresearchoflifesciences,translationalresearchonhumanhealthandmajordiseases,andtheresearchonsustainabledevelopmentofagricultureandenvironment.
CSNwasfoundedin1995inShanghai,registeredattheMinistryofCivilAffairsofChina.CSNisaffiliatedtoSIBSofCAS.CSNisanonprofitlearnedsocietyofChineseneuroscientistsfromuniversities,researchinstitutionsandhospitalsalloverthecountry.Currentlyithasmorethan3500membersdistributedinalltheprovincesexceptforTaiwanprovinceandXizangAutonomousRegion.CSNhasalreadyjoinedInternationalBrainResearchOrganization(IBRO)in1995ascorporatemember.TheaimoftheSocietyistounitetheneuroscientiststhroughoutthecountrytocontributetothedevelopmentofneuroscienceinChinaandtotheflourishofChina'smodernization.
